Creating a Text Task

You can create a task by text quickly and easily in WhisprList.

  1. Click the blue “+” button in the bottom navigation.
  2. Add a title for your task.
  3. Optionally add notes, a due date, a due time, or a flag.
  4. Click Add Task to save.

Flags or due dates are optional.

Creating Flags

Flags (categories) help you group tasks cleanly.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom menu).
  2. Click Create Flags.
  3. Type the flag name.
  4. Choose a color (built-in or custom).
  5. Click Add Flag.

You can apply a single flag/category to any task.

How to Create an Account

Creating an account is straightforward and free; new accounts get 20 voice tasks.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to app.whisprlist.com.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Set a password.
  4. Click Sign Up.

Creating a Webhook (Make/Zapier)

Use webhooks to send tasks from WhisprList to other apps.

  1. Create an account on make.com or zapier.com.
  2. In your chosen service, create a Webhook and copy its URL.
  3. In WhisprList, go to Settings (gear icon).
  4. Find the Webhook card and paste the URL.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Use Test Webhook to verify; tasks created in WhisprList will be POSTed to that URL.

Creating a Voice Task

Creating a task by voice is fast and natural.

  1. Tap the orange microphone button in the bottom navigation.
  2. Click Start Recording and describe your task (up to ~15 seconds).
  3. Mention due dates/times in your speech (e.g., “by Wednesday at 4 pm”); the AI will set them automatically.
  4. Review and edit if needed; optionally set a flag/category.
  5. Save.
